No matter how often I have been on a plane and how much of a citizen of the world I am (pressumed to be), I still get excited when it is finally time to board. A smile forces itself on to my face; butterflies in my tummy – I’m off to some place new!
This time is especially special, because I’m meeting up with the bf after four days apart (yes, a life time, that’s right). He has been in Sydney coaching at a futsal tournament and I stayed home. It’s also special, because we will be going to Canberra, the Australian capital where I haven’t been before and the bf hasn’t been since he was 4. Another reason why it’s special is because we are going to see one of the Asia Cup matches (Bahrain vs. UAE). I can’t believe how excited I am about the Asia Cup. Australia has won two out of three matches – that’s two more than last Cup! The final reason why it’s special is that it is the last of the Australian states & territories for me to cross off (and the second last capital).
I’m so excited I can barely contain myself!!
