Migrants refuse to leave train near Hungary camp – http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-34142512
I cannot begin to understand the desperation these people must feel doing what they are doing.
I do not know what to do to help them. I feel powerless. I want to cry.
Imagine that is your child, and all you know is that you can’t go on in the country he or she was born. Your child deserves a better life and you will do whatever it takes to give him/her exactly that. Isn’t that why we as a race do anything – a better life for ourselves and our offspring?
How incredibly horrible must your situation be that all you can think of to do is lay your family down on the train tracks if the alternative is being send back to where you came from?
At the same time these images remind me of Nazi Germany and the transportation of the Jews to the concentration. Am I alone in that?
